We bring people together year-round through education, connection, play, and community.

Everything leads to Northern Exposure.

Every July, people travel from across Alaska and around the country to spend five days learning, connecting, laughing, sharing meals, exploring ideas, and building community together.

Alaska’s only queer sex education conference and a five-day gathering packed with learning, networking, exploration, and chosen family vibes.

Why?

Because community doesn’t happen in a single weekend.

It happens when people gather again and again, build trust, learn from one another, and create meaningful connections over time.

We’re also intentional.

Not every event is open to everyone.

Many gatherings require registration, vetting, or community accountability.

Creating safer spaces for queer people, marginalized communities, and those exploring vulnerable parts of themselves requires intention.

Northern Exposure has never been about being the biggest.

It’s about building something real.

Real community.

Real education.

Real connection.

Northern Exposure isn’t just an event you attend.

It’s a community you become part of.

If you’re looking for community, education, connection, and a place where curiosity is welcome, you’re in the right place.
